Grand Prize awarded to Choose Networks, Inc., wraps up ‘Web.com Small Business Championship’ across the United States
JACKSONVILLE, Fla., Nov. 7, 2018 — Web.com, the marketing partner for businesses wanting to connect with more customers and grow, announced Wednesday that Wichita, Kansas-based Choose Networks, Inc., is the grand-prize winner of the Web.com Small Business ChampionshipWeb.com created the Small Business Championship to recognize and reward business owners who have positively impacted their communities and exemplified hard work to achieve their potential.
Throughout the Web.com Tour season, small businesses at each U.S. tour location competed against each other in head-to-head competition for a chance to qualify for the final national contest. Ultimately, 22 finalists were pitted against each other for the grand prize.
From Oct. 3 through Nov. 1, more than 10,000 votes were cast on the contest website. The competition was fierce among the finalists, and it was closely contested through the end of the voting period.
While hard work is a requisite to unlocking the potential for a small business, Choose Networks has shown that commitment to the community can also pay off. The company has donated their services, free-of-charge, to several community organizations that benefit various social causes. Those organizations include The Wichita Open, Wichita WIN and Raise My Head Foundation.

The prize amount is approximately 10 times more than the average small-business owner spends annually on media and marketing efforts, according to the advisory firm BIA/Kelsey’s Local Commerce Monitor.
